RIVERS SDP RECEIVES A TRONG OF DEFECTORS FROM PDP IN OBIO/AKPOR LGA.
Today, scores of defectors from the PDP in Rumuekini community in Obio/Akpor LGA dumped the people’s democratic for the SDP.
The leader of the decampees, Chief Ezebunwo Humphrey while speaking, said, his family and followers have decided to pitch tenth with the SDP in Rivers State and give their support to the governorship candidate of the SDP, Senator Magnus Abe , because he is the most competent, accessible, qualified and experienced candidate among the league of contestant vying for the office of governor in Rivers State.
He said, Senator Abe has the institutional memory and the political willpower to pull Rivers state out of the doldrum of unemployment, backwardness, mass exodus of businesses and decay in our civil service and government institutions.
Senator Magnus Ngei Abe thanked the decampees and welcomed them to the fastest-growing party in Rivers State, the SDP. He promised them equal opportunities in the party and assured them that he will not betray the trust they have given him. Senator Abe promised to appoint people who have the pedigree and the competency to bring a better tomorrow and the dividends of true democracy to them.
