The Rivers State Civil Society Organization, has reacted to the prosecution of former Governor of Rivers State Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi and Tonye Cole by the State Government over the sale of its assets
The organization, in a statement hailed the prosecution of Amaechi and others, but said it should begin from the administration of Dr. Peter Odili.
The organization also said it is in support of the development not because Amaechi is involved, but because it is what needs to be done.
The state government yesterday, instituted a nine-count charge against Amaechi, Tonye Cole and Sahara Energy over alleged stealing, cheating and conspiracy.
