Commissioner of Police, Eastern Ports, Moshood Jimoh says the command remains committed to put an end to vandalism at the Port.
He said this during a conference organised by the Coalition of Maritime Journalists Association of Nigeria, COMJAN, with the theme, ‘Advancing Global Logistics in the Blue Economy’.
Moshood issued a stern warning against vandalism of seaport facilities in Rivers State, adding that anyone caught in the act would be prosecuted inline with the laws of the land.
“We shall remain committed in our efforts to build a formidable force against vandals and criminal elements at the seaports,” he said.
As you may know, five suspected vandals were recently arrested and paraded while allegedly stealing Port materials.
