The Rivers State Police Command on Monday said it is not aware of any assassination attempt on the former Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Chijioke Ihunwo.
In a statement, the command said, “We are not aware of any assassination attempt on Ihunwo.”
This comes after Ihunwo claimed that his life was targeted during a visit to a burial ceremony in Rumueme on Saturday.
