The Rivers State Police Command has denied knowledge of any court order restraining it from enforcing the tinted glass permit regulation.
The State Commissioner of Police, Olugbenga Adepoju, made this known while leading officers on the enforcement exercise across the state.
Adepoju explained that the enforcement of the tinted glass permit law, which was earlier suspended, has now resumed after a period of sensitization to allow motorists comply.
He warned that vehicles without valid permits would be impounded until the owners obtain the necessary authorisation from the police.
