The Rivers State Police Command has announced that 17-year-old Miss Joy Woke Wiro has been declared missing.
In a statement signed by the Command’s spokesperson, Superintendent of Police (SP) Grace Iringe-Koko, the teenager, a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area, was described as fair in complexion, about five feet tall, and fluent in both English and Ikwerre languages.
According to the statement, Joy left home on Monday, September 8, 2025, and has not been seen since, despite efforts to trace her whereabouts.
The police appealed to members of the public with useful information to contact her father, Mr. Prince Wiro, on 08065227445 or 08167338058, call the police control number 08032003514, or report to the nearest police station.
