The Rivers State Police command has confirmed the killing of two former members of a local vigilante group, OSPAC in Ibaa community, Emohua Local Government Area of the state by suspected cultists.
Spokesperson of the Police Command, DSP. Grace Iringi Koko confirmed the incident in a statement on Wednesday.
She stated that the matter is currently being investigated and that efforts are on to arrest the suspects.
It was gathered that the suspected cultists ambushed the men along a narrow path and shot them dead, before shooting sporadically in the air as residents scampered for safety.
