Rivers Police Confirm Arrest of 12 Suspected Fraudsters For Burying Newborn

The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of about twelve suspected fraudsters, for allegedly burying a newborn baby at Eagle Island in Port Harcourt.

Public Relations Officer of the Command, Grace Iringe-Koko, said the suspects have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for proper investigation.

She said at the end of the investigation, the suspects will be charged to court if they are found guilty.

The suspects were arrested by the PHALGA security and handed over to the Police.
