The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of about 10 Travellers Along the Bonny-Port Harcourt waterway.
Spokesperson of the Command, Grace Koko in a statement said the State Commissioner of Police, Olatunji Disu has directed tactical units to ensure the abductors are released, and the suspects arrested.
Recall that Chairman of the Maritime Workers Union in Rivers State, Israel Pepple had raised an alarm over the abduction.
