The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of passengers along the Obiri Ikwerre axis of the state.
Spokesperson of the Command, Grace Koko in a statement said three passengers were abducted while on their way to Port Harcourt.
She said efforts are on to rescue those abducted and arrest the suspects.
Sources had said eight passengers were whisked away by the gunmen.
