The Police in Rivers State has arrested two teenagers aged 14 and 15 for allegedly defiling a 12-year-old girl.
The incident, occurred in November last year at Rumuodumaya in Obio/Akpor local government area of Rivers State.
Father of the girl, said the boys adopted his daughter on her way to dispose of refuse, and raped her for over 3 hours.
According him, they threatened the girl not to inform anyone of the incident, or even disclose their identities.
The man, said medical examination showed that the girl was seriously injured.
He pleaded with the Police to properly investigate the matter and ensure Justice is served.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Eboka Friday has ordered that the case be moved from the Human Rights Desk of the command to the Criminal Investigation Department.
