The Rivers State Police Command has arrested a suspected serial rapist, Israel Tamunokoro, in a hotel room in Port Harcourt.
Tamunokoro is alleged to have lured young women to hotels, sexually assaulted them, and then coerced them into revealing their bank PINs, which he used to transfer their money.
According to police sources, officers from the Octopus Division apprehended the suspect over the weekend while he was allegedly attacking another victim, unaware that law enforcement was tracking him.
Authorities have confirmed that an investigation is ongoing to gather more evidence and ensure justice for the victims.
