The Rivers State Police Command, has confirmed the arrest of one Pastor, Michael Chidozie accused of beating his wife, Ufuoma Chidozie to death.
The incident occured on Tuesday night at the Agip axis of Mile 4 in Obio/Akpor local government area of the state.
Spokesperson of the RSPC, Grace Koko, confirmed the arrest of the suspect in a statement on Thursday.
According to her, the suspect was arrested on Wednesday and transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Port Harcourt, for investigation.
We gathered that the remains of the deceased have been deposited in the mortuary.
