Business coach, Emeka Nobis has launched an appeal for financial and moral support to assist Port Harcourt-based poet, Graciano Enwerem, who is battling stage two liver cancer.
Nobis disclosed that Enwerem, who recently gained recognition for a Guinness World Record attempt with 170 hours of nonstop poetry performance, has been living with the condition for about 144 days.
According to him, the cost of managing the illness is estimated at a minimum of ₦2 million monthly, covering treatment, organic supplements, and healing aids.
Enwerem, regarded as one of the country’s foremost performance poets, has been sharing updates about his health challenges on social media. Nobid urged Nigerians, particularly those in Lagos where the poet currently resides, to offer financial assistance and moral support.
