A group known as the Rivers State Political Watch has called on the European Union, UK Government and US to place visa ban on those aiding political violence in the state.
The group made this known Today in reaction to the attack on the residence of former federal lawmaker, Lee Maeba this morning.
The group condemned the act noting that violence in any form is not acceptable.
“Senator Lee Maeba’s residence in PortHarcourt vandalised by thugs today. Rivers State Political Watch is calling on the European Union, UK Government and USA to place visa ban on those aiding Political violence in the state,” the group said.
Sources says thugs numbering over 100 stormed Maeba’s house Today and vandalized his properties.
