The Body of Permanent Secretaries in Rivers State has announced the sponsorship of 329 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms for indigent students across the state to mark the 51st birthday of Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
According to a statement issued by the Head of Service, Dr. (Mrs) Inyingi S. I. Brown, 319 of the forms have been allocated to the 319 wards in Rivers State, while five are reserved for non-indigenes and another five for persons with disabilities. Interested applicants have been advised to contact the Office of the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Education for further information.
The initiative, the statement noted, is part of activities to celebrate Governor Fubara, whom the Permanent Secretaries described as “a governor who leads by serving.” The body commended his people-centred and service-driven leadership, saying it has strengthened institutional stability and improved public service delivery in the state.
The Permanent Secretaries also expressed appreciation to the governor for approving a befitting accommodation complex for Permanent Secretaries, describing the move as a demonstration of his commitment to staff welfare and administrative efficiency.
They wished Governor Fubara continued good health, wisdom, and greater accomplishments in his service to the people of Rivers State.
