The Rivers State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party has promised to reward members of a Pro-Wike group ‘One Million Youths For Wike’ with elective positions. This is for their loyalty to the party and unwavering support for the state governor.
Chairman of the party in the state, Amb. Desmond Akawor made this known when the leadership of the group paid him a courtesy visit in his office today.
Akawor who was presented with series of gifts by the group assured them that they will not be sidelined by the party or the government of day.
He said the state government and the party are known to reward people who work for their successes.
Chairman of the group, Edison Ehie in his remark commended the State Governor and the leadership of the party for the uncommon transformation being witnessed in the state.
The group was formed prior to the last general election to galvanize support for Governor Wike’s bid for re-election.
