Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike has said that the People’s Democratic Party in Rivers State is united amid the political battle between him and his successor, Sim Fubara.
Speaking, during a media chat on Wednesday, Wike said the party had peacefully held its ward and local government Congresses in the State, adding that it would not have been hitch-free if the party was not United.
“PDP is united in Rivers. Some people have been governors and lost elections. PDP has held ward, and local government congresses hitch-free,” he said.
As you may know, the party held its congresses in the State despite a court injunction secured by loyalists to Gov Sim Fubara restraining it from doing so.
