Hon. Chukwuemwka Aaron has emerged as the new Acting Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party in Rivers State following the resignation of Amb. Desmond Akawor.
Akawor who has been the Rivers PDP Chairman since 2020 announced his resignation Today after he was appointed Federal Commissioner of Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) representing Rivers State by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday.
Akawor in a letter addressed to Acting National Chairman of the PDP – Amb. Umar Damagum said, he has handed over his position to his Deputy, Hon. Chukwuemeka Aaron.
