The PDP in Rivers State says the report by the European Union Election Observation Mission on the 2023 general election that the state witnessed a constrained campaign environment was not based on fact.
Publicity Secretary of the party, Sydney Gbara disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.
According to him, the report was not well intended, and not meant for the good of Rivers people.
He stated that the Executive Orders 21 and 22 was to protect public facility and not targeted at any political party.
Also, spokesperson of the PDP campaign council, Ogbonna Nwuke said the report relied on unverified facts.
He added that the report is aimed at tarnishing Nigeria’s democracy.
