A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party in Rivers state, Hon. Abiye Davies has called for the expulsion of former governor of the state, Barr, Nyesom Wike by the National Working Committee of the party.
Davies in a statement Today said Wike needs to be expelled for anti-party activities in the just concluded presidential elections considering the resent judgement from an appeal Court that gives the Party the mandate to do so in accordance with it’s constitution.
The former Degema Council chair also said he remains the authentic Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party in Rivers State.
The party in the state is yet to react to the statement.
