Newly elected chairman of the People’s Democratic Party in Rivers State, Aaron Chukwuemeka has declared the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike as leader of the party in the State.
Aaron, said this while addressing stakeholders of the party in Port Harcourt on Monday.
According to him, the leadership of the PDP in Rivers State is not in contention, adding that Governor, Fubara.never said he was the leader of the party in Rivers State.
He said, “We have kept quiet for too long because we were just caretaker ..Now that we have been elected , we’ll respond to every comment to address issues within our party and state the facts .
“The leader of the party in Rivers State is Chief E.N Wike , the FCT Minister.
“The leadership of the PDP in Rivers State is not in contention.
“The Governor himself never said he was the leader of the party in Rivers State , it’s just those cashing out from the crisis that are bringing such arguments.
“Remember that while Buhari was the President of Nigeria, Tinubu was the leader of the APC.
