Rivers House of Representatives Aspirant, Comr. Legborsi Yamaabana has dragged the People’s Democratic Party to court over what he termed “unjust denial” to contest for the Khana/Gokana Federal Constituency.
Legborsi, who disclosed this in a statement, said he was unlawfully disqualified by the screening committee.
According to him, no plot or clandestine move by his opponent will stop him from contesting the party primaries.
His statement reads,
The judiciary is the last hope of the embattled & oppressed!
Today, I took the matter of my unjust denial to contest for the Khana/Gokana Federal Constituency by the PDP to the temple of justice (Federal High Court, Abuja)
I enjoin my teeming supporters and lovers of justice to keep hope alive! Justice must prevail….
I repeat, no plot or clandestine moves by my opponent can stop my ULTIMATE VICTORY!
