Factional Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, Robinson Ewor, says the party is unbothered by speculation that Governor Siminalayi Fubara may defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ewor, in a statement said that the Governor has the right to join any party he so wishes, provided it serves the interest of Rivers people.
Similarly, the factional Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in the state, Emeka Beke, said Governor Fubara would be welcomed if he decides to join their fold, stressing that he has the constitutional right to freedom of association.
The speculation about the governor’s political move follows his frequent visits to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
