The Rivers State Palliative Distribution Committee has commenced distribution of bags of rice to local government areas.
Chairman of the Palliative committee, Amb. Desmond Akawor made this known in a statement on Tuesday.
He said LGAs such as Abua Odual, Bonny, Degema and Onelga received theirs yesterday.
He noted that while Abua Odual received 650 bags, Bonny got 600 bags, Degema and Onelga received 850 bags each.
Akawor also said more local councils will receive theirs Today.
