Rivers State and other parts of the southern region will experience cloudy conditions with chances of isolated thunderstorms between Monday and Wednesday, according to the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet).
In its weather outlook released on Sunday via X, NiMet said the southern region would see a cloudy atmosphere with intervals of sunshine on Monday, with slim chances of isolated thunderstorms expected over parts of Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa and Cross River from afternoon to evening.
For the central region, the agency projected sunny skies with patches of clouds, while the northern region is expected to remain sunny throughout the day.
On Tuesday, NiMet forecast dust haze across Kebbi, Zamfara, Sokoto, Katsina, Kano, Jigawa, Borno and Yobe. It added that the central region would experience sunny conditions with light cloud cover.
The agency said the southern region, including Rivers, would remain cloudy with slim prospects of isolated thunderstorms over parts of Cross River in the morning, while isolated thunderstorms are anticipated later in the day over Delta, Ogun, Ondo, Lagos, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Cross River.
