The Omega Power Ministries (OPM) has announced another round of free entrance examinations for children with autism and Down syndrome into its special needs school in Port Harcourt.
According to the church, the free school is designed to provide inclusive education for children with special needs, ensuring they are not hidden in shame or stigmatized. The OPM emphasized that “there is ability in every disability,” noting that many pupils who have passed through the school have shown remarkable improvements.
The admission exercise is scheduled for Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the OPM Free School for Children with Autism and Down Syndrome, located at No. 47 Obodo Street, off Apu Junction, Eneka Link Road, Port Harcourt. Screening begins at 7 a.m., and parents are expected to come with their child’s medical report.
The church highlighted that the school is entirely free, covering uniforms, books, sandals, school bags, and meals. It also disclosed that OPM currently operates 37 free schools across Nigeria and abroad, funded solely from tithes and offerings.
Good evening sir/ma, please I’m not aware when admission was going on. Please is there any way to render help for my daughter to get admission in your school? I just saw the advert on Facebook. Please if you can please do.
Thank you.
Herrieta.
