Member representing Ideato Federal Constituency of Imo State in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ikenga Ugochinyere has called on the public to disregard reports of reinstatement of defected Rivers lawmakers.
Ugochinyere in a statement said the seats of the lawmakers have been long gone and only a bye-election can bring them back.
The lawmaker who had declared support for Gov Sim Fubara in the ongoing political crisis in the state, also said the lawmakers seized to be members of the assembly and the party the day they officially announced their defection from the party.
