Former DG of NIMASA, Dakuku Peterside says Rivers State has become one of the most endangered states in the country, because it lacks creative leadership.
Peterside, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and major critic of the current administration disclosed this in a statement on Friday.
He said the administation lacks vision and strategy on how to tackle some of the challenges confronting the state, as all they have is “knee-jack” approach.
Dakuku noted that anytime there is a security challenge, what people of the state get is a lockdown which results to untold hardship as if there are no options.
“At every point in time, lockdown approach. Everytime there is a security challenge, we lockdown like there are no options. We lockdown our thinking and we lockdown the state, everybody suffers because we have leadership that is not creative, that is not thinking,” he said.
“Rivers today is one of the most endangered states in the country. There is neither a vision on how to tackle insecurity, there is no strategy, no architecture. Nobody is doing anything. All we have is knee-jack approach,” he added.
