The National Youth Council of Nigeria in Rivers State, NYCN, has raised an alarm over plots to form a factional youth council in the state.
Legal Adviser of the council, Chigozie Emem disclosed this in a statement in Port Harcourt Today.
According to him the plan was conceived after Chairman of the youth body in the state – Chijioke ihunwo declared his support for Governor, Sim Fubara during the political crisis in the state.
He said those behind the plot are not happy that Ihunwo is standing behind the Governor, rather than their paymaster.
Emem called on security agencies not to allow anyone cause crisis in the state, adding that they would resist the evil plot.
