The Rivers State Governorship debate for the 2023 election has been slated to hold on the 3rd of March 2023.
Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists in the state, Ike Wigodo made this known yesterday.
According to him, online voting process will commence next week to select five most viable candidates.
“The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Rivers State Council is set to host Governorship debate for 2023 Election on 3rd of March 2023. Online voting process to commence next week to select 5 most viable Candidates,” he said.
This debate will afford the selected governorship candidates the opportunity to sell their manifestoes and answer questions bothering on security, economy, employment, education and other issues that directly affect the Rivers people.
The governorship debate will be broadcast live in both radio and television stations.
