Factional Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Victor Oko-Jumbo has said that nothing will stop the forthcoming local government elections in Rivers State scheduled for October 5th, 2024.
Oko-Jumbo said this while commissioning a rural electrification rehabilitation project at Gbam Bo-ue, Khana Local Government Area, powered by the CTC Chairman, Amb. Marvin Yobana, on Monday.
According to him, the state government is committed to ensuring that the LGA elections are conducted in a free, fair, and credible manner, and that they will not allow any obstacle or challenge to hinder the electoral process.
