The organised labour in Nigeria has threatened to shutdown the economy of the country should anything happen to any of its members during the protest in Rivers State on Tuesday.
Deputy National President of the TUC, Chika Onuegbu, made this known in a chat with journalists yesterday.
He said the organised labour may be forced to report the state government to the International Labour Organization if they fail to address the plights of workers in the state.
He also appealed to the state government to dialogue with the union to end the lingering crises.
