The Nigeria Labour Congress in Rivers State, says is in talks with the State government over payment of wage award to civil servants in the state.
Chairman of NLC in the state, Alex Agwanwor disclosed this in a statement.
He assured workers in the State that the outcome of the ongoing negotiation will be beneficial to them.
Recall that the Federal Government few weeks ago in an effort to cushion the effect of subsidy removal reached an agreement with organised labour to pay a N35,000 wage award to federal government workers.
