The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), in Rivers State, said it secured the conviction of 119 drug offenders as at December 2022.
Emmanuel Ogumgbada, Deputy state commander Media and Advocacy in a statement yesterday, said there are also 115 cases in court.
He said the command arrested 312 suspects comprising 256 males and 56 females with hard drugs weighing 2,332kg (2.332 tonnes), such as cocaine, heroin, Cannabis Sativa, methamphetamine amongst others.
The Command added that the convicts are at present serving various jail terms at the Correctional Service Centre in Port Harcourt.
