The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA in Rivers state, says it cannot fight against illicit drugs alone.
Bennet Uche, the commission’s Head of Investigation in the state at an event few days ago, said they need the support of members of the public to effectively fight drug abuse in the state.
According to him, the rate at which youths engage in drugs is alarming.
He advised youths to stay away from harmful substances as they are detrimental to their health and well-being.
He noted that the commission in the state is doing everything within its power to fight drug abuse, especially among youths.
