The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has commissioned the re-constructed 5.5 km road network project in Oyigbo local government area of Rivers State.
During the commissioning on Wednesday, the commission also officially launched the rehabilitation of the Mgboji – Umuagbai – Akwete Road.
The commission in a statement said the delivery of the project has enhanced the existing transportation network, connecting several communities (Obunku, Umuosi, Obeakpu, Mgboji, Ndoki and others) within the Ndoki axis of Oyigbo LGA, and has also immensely improved the economic situation of the area.
