The Nigerian Navy Basic Training School (NNBTS) Onne has conducted the Passing Out Parade (POP) of Batch 36 trainees after 6 months of intensive military training. A total of 1,814 trainees successfully completed the training.
The event held on n Saturday, 14 December 2024 in Onne, Rivers State.
The Special Guest of Honour (SGOH) was the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla and the Chief host was the Commandant NNBTS, Commodore GJ Kachim.In attendance were Principal Staff Officers from Defence Headquarters, Naval Headquarters, Flag Officers Commanding, General Officers Commanding and Air Officers Commanding.
Others were Principal Staff Officers from Naval Training Command, Commanders of Autonomous Units, Commandants of Military formations and Heads of Security agencies, Traditional Rulers, Captains of Industries as well as families and friends of the Passing Out Trainees.
In his remarks, the CNS, congratulated the trainees and encouraged them to be law abiding, be good ambassadors of the Nigerian Navy and be ready to work as a team in their chosen career.
