The paramount ruler of Kono Boue community in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State, His Royal Highness, Taalor Tornwe has been remanded at the Port Harcourt Correctional Center by a Chief Magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt.
Taalor Tornwe, is facing a three-count charge bordering on conspiracy and cultism.
He was also denied bail, after it was opposed by the prosecution counsel from the office of the Attorney General of the state.
Sources say when the matter was mentioned in court, Chief Magistrate, Amadi Nna did not allow the charges to be read against the accused following the nature of the case.
The Chief Magistrate, thereafter encouraged the defense counsel to approach the High court for bail and ordered that the case file be sent back.
