The Rivers State House of Assembly has screened and confirmed members of the state Civil Service Commission appointed by Governor, Nyseom Wike to overseer the promotion of civil servants in the state.
Members of the Commission which include, Sir Clifford Ndu Walter – Chairman, Ben Richard Ngozi Okpara – member, Barr Osima Gina – member, John Paschal Nali – member and Chief Mike Elechi – member were screened Today.
The governor, had in a statement yesteday, said he has forwarded the list of members of the Civil Service Commission to the Assembly for screening to oversee the process to fruition.
This was when he received on courtesy visit a delegation led by the chairman of the Rivers State branch of Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Alex Agwanwor and the chairman of the Joint Negotiating Council (JNC), Emechete Chuku at Government House in Port Harcourt.
