The Rivers State Chapter of the People’s Democratic party, says Governor Nyesom wike will on Saturday March 20 2021, officially flag-off the State Central Campaign for the April 17, local government elections.
Publicity Secretary of the party in the state, Hon. Sydney Tambari disclosed this in a statement yesterday.
He said the event which will hold at the Isaac Boro Park in Port Harcourt, will start by 11:00 AM prompt.
Hon. Tambari said Gov. Wike will also present party flags to the 23 chairmanship candidates, for the April 17 elections.
Tambari who stated that all COVID-19 protocols will be strictly adhered to, called on supporters and stakeholders of the party, to grace the occasion.
