Some political parties in Rivers State, have alleged that the state Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC), has deliberately refused to meet with political parties in the State.
Chairman of Labour party in the state, Prince Reuben Favor made the allegation during an interview in Port Harcourt, yesterday.
He berated the commission for the act, stating that it doesn’t know what to do.
Reuben also frowned at comments by the Governor that only local government chairmen with proven track records, will be re-elected.
He said the statement is an indication that the election may not be free and fair.
He called on Gov. Wike not to influence the process, as it is left for the people to determine who has done well or not.
