The African Democratic Congress ADC, in Rivers State, has alleged that the results of this Saturday’s local government elections had already been written by the People’s Democratic Party.
Some of the Party’s Chairmanship and councilorship candidates, disclosed this in a chat with Journalists, in Port Harcourt, on Tuesday.
The aspirants said there is no need to participate in the council poll as it will amount to a waste of time and resources.
They accused the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, of conniving with the state government to write the results.
The electoral umpire had in a statement said the process will be free, fair and credible, as it advised residents to come in their numbers and partake in the exercise.
