The African Democratic Congress, has accused the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC), of shortlisting names of PDP members, as Adhoc staff for the April 17, local government elections.
Chairmanship aspirant of the ADC in Onelga, Bright Abali said this in a chat with news correspondents, yesterday.
He alleged that the electoral umpire is doing everything within its power to rig the forthcoming LG election, in favor of the PDP.
The ADC Chairmanship aspirant, stated that the online app used by RSIEC, for the recruitment of Adhoc staff was fraudulent, as the body recruited members of the ruling party in the state, for the exercise.
He advised RSIEC to cancel the list of adhoc staff, and start a fresh recruitment exercise to employ people that are apolitical for the election.
He noted that the ADC is on course to win the championship position of the council, as they have campaigned excellently well in the entire area.
