Lenu, made the call while warning residents of the state to be careful and vigilante when using “public transport” as the rate of robbery now is alarming.
According to him, people are being robbed with bolt, adding that tricycles also known as keke “is the worst.”
His statement reads,
If you are using public transport this period, plz be extremely vigilant. The rate of rubbery incidents in public transport now is alarming.
They are doing it also with bolt. But keke is the worst.
In Keke, once you notice someone starts acting funny be careful. They may act as though they are sick, coughing & wants to stop the driver abruptly. Just know it is either they’ve stolen your possession or they are about to do so.
Just view everyone in a Keke not your mother this period as a suspect, no matter how neat dressed they are. They rob passengers in cohort with drivers & others gang members who poses as passengers including women.
You are also in more danger when they figure out that you’ve noticed their game. So just be extremely careful this period.
The security agents also needs to set up an undercover tact team to burst these criminals syndicate that are spread all over our city now. May God help us all.
