Deputy Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ehie Edison has empowered 20 of his constituents with the sum of N500,000 each.
The lawmaker, representing Ahoada East, under his N.E.W Business Empowerment Programme, presented cheques to the beneficiaries, today.
The beneficiaries, which include men and women are to start up any business of their choice with the money.
He advised them to make good use of the money for their own good, and the society at large.
