PORT HARCOURT – In a move to boost digital literacy among students, Hon. Blessing Chigeru Amadi, the member representing Port Harcourt Federal Constituency II, officially handed over laptops to International Secondary School, Rivers State University, on Wednesday.
The initiative, part of Amadi’s constituency project, was carried out in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy and IT Lounge Limited.
Hon. Amadi said the project is aligned with the federal government’s digital agenda, supported by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and spearheaded by the Minister of Communications, Dr. Bosun Tijani. She noted that the donation aims to enhance access to technology, improve learning outcomes, and equip students with future-ready digital skills.
“This milestone marks a significant step toward empowering our youth through digital access,” Hon. Amadi said during the handover ceremony.
