The Rivers State Judiciary Press Corps has refuted an online reports accusing the State Chief Judge, Justice Simeon Amadi, of delivering biased rulings.
The report claimed that former Rivers State Governor and current Minister of the FCT, Chief Nyesom Wike, alleged that Justice Amadi’s purported bias stemmed from the dismissal of a fellow judge from the state judiciary.
In a swift response on Tuesday, the chairman of the press corps, Elder Samuel Chindah, dismissed the report as false and baseless. He described it as a fabrication by an anonymous writer with the intent to tarnish the Chief Judge’s reputation.
Chindah clarified that during the media chat referenced by the publication, Wike did not mention Justice Amadi’s name but was instead referring to a different judge of the State High Court. He urged the public to disregard the misleading report.
