Ola Le Kan, who made this known in a statement said it is one of the fastest ways the governor can improve the state’s GDP, create economic activities and lift people out of poverty.

His statement reads,

Task before Governor Fubara

Mass Housing Scheme in 23 LGAs of Rivers state

One of the fastest ways for Governor Sim Fubara to improve the State’s GDP, create economic activities and lift people out of poverty is to embark on a mass housing project across the 23 LGAs.

With 1,000 2-bedroom housing units in each of the 23 LGAs, the volume of economic activities will be massive, in addition to creating more towns and tackling poverty at the same time.

Just about N150bn spread over 4 years can do the magic.
