The Rivers State Government says the “Rivers International Marathon” will hold on May 18 2024.
Commissioner for Sports, Chris Green disclosed this in a statement Today.
According to him, the full marathon will hold on a mapped 42km course for elite athletes, while there will also be a 5Km Fun Run for residents and Nigerians who wish to be part of the event.
He stated that the event is being held in partnership with Arc Raphael Limited, adding that it is part of the vision of the governor to make Rivers State a sports hub in the country.
